There are currently four main types of Synthetic Track Surface in use.

• A solid PU track that is resistant to water.
• Sandwich systems incorporating a solid PU surface over a base rubber and sealer coat.
• A porous textured spray track which allows water to pass through
• Pre fabricated system

Three are in-situ systems comprising of polyurethane resins and graded rubber granules, these are installed insitu. A pre fabricated system is pre formed, consisting of two different layers that are vulcanized together and installed as a continuous piece of material.

Your athletic track is a valuable asset and the surface should be treated with respect at all times and will give many years of reliable, consistent use provided that it is properly maintained.
